Myofascial Release
Myofascial Release is a gentle, hands-on therapy that uses sustained pressure to release restrictions within the body's fascial system. Fascia is a three dimensional web of connective tissue that supports every structure in the horse’s body. The fascia can become restricted or tight due to trauma, stress, overuse, or compensation patterns. Rather than simply treating symptoms, this technique addresses the underlying causes of fascial restrictions. Often, the area where discomfort is felt is not the source of the problem but the result of tension elsewhere in the body. This whole-body approach promotes lasting relief, improved performance, and greater overall well-being.
Important Note*: Your horse should have 24 hours of rest followed by a light hack the next day. This allows your horse to move into their new range of motion and begin strengthening the tissue they gain access to.
